Cegelec Abu Dhabi, is a specialized engineering and contracting business unit focused on electrical, instrumentation, and control systems projects for the Oil & Gas industry. From initial design through to construction and commissioning, Cegelec Abu Dhabi delivers end-to-end solutions tailored to the sector’s technical and operational demands.

Active in Abu Dhabi and the Oil & Gas sector since 1980, Cegelec Abu dhabi has successfully executed a wide range of projects, either directly for ADNOC (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company) subsidiaries or as a specialized subcontractor supporting major contractors.

Role & responsabilities

Join our IT team and play an active role in digital transformation initiatives that support business performance and user experience. This internship offers the opportunity to work on IT projects, business applications and modern workplace solutions while gaining exposure to project management, process improvement and emerging technologies.

In this role, you will:

• Support the implementation of IT projects and business applications across the organization.

• Contribute to digitalization initiatives and continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with business users to understand their needs and support the successful delivery of digital solutions.

• Assist in project coordination activities, including action tracking, documentation and testing.

• Promote the adoption and effective use of Microsoft 365 tools and digital workplace solutions.

• Prepare user guides, training materials and communication content to support change management initiatives.

• Deliver or support user awareness and training sessions.

• Provide day-to-day IT support to end users and help resolve functional issues.

• Explore and promote innovative technologies, including AI-powered productivity tools and process automation solutions such as Microsoft Copilot and Power Automate.

• Contribute to identifying opportunities for automation, simplification and digital optimization across business processes.

Profile

You are currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or Project Management and are looking to gain hands-on experience in IT projects and digital transformation.

You have a strong interest in technology, business applications and process improvement. Curious about emerging technologies, you are eager to discover how digital tools, automation and artificial intelligence can enhance productivity and collaboration in the workplace.

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and an interest in AI-powered solutions such as Microsoft Copilot and Power Automate would be a strong advantage.

Organized and proactive, you are comfortable working with different stakeholders and managing multiple priorities. You possess strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.

A good command of English, both written and spoken, is required.
