Axians Qatar, a VINCI Energies brand, delivers Information and Communication Technology (ICT) solutions to customers across Qatar. Our activities cover the design, deployment and support of advanced telecommunications and network infrastructures, including solutions based on technologies and protocols such as MPLS.

Role & responsabilities

As part of our Engineering team, you will gain hands-on experience in telecommunications and network engineering while contributing to real projects delivered for our customers.

Depending on your academic background and interests, you may be involved in one or several of the following areas:

Project Engineering

• Assist in the preparation of technical project deliverables, including procedures, network architectures, engineering documentation and technical diagrams.

• Support engineering teams in the review and update of project documentation.

• Participate in project execution and coordination activities.

Tender & Proposal Support

• Contribute to the preparation of technical proposals for customer tenders.

• Assist in the development of commercial and technical documentation.

• Support bid teams in reviewing customer requirements and specifications.

Digital Tools & Operational Improvement

• Develop and improve utility tools used to support project operations.

• Participate in the creation of material management, stock tracking and reporting tools using Excel or equivalent solutions.

• Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Network Applications & Development

• Support the development of specialized applications and engineering tools.

• Participate in the enhancement of an in-house Cisco Router Health Check solution, including UI/UX improvements.

• Assist in testing, validation and documentation of developed solutions.

Profile

You are currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Network Engineering or a related discipline and are looking to gain practical experience in a dynamic and international ICT environment.

You have a strong interest in telecommunications, network infrastructures and digital technologies.

Ideally, you have knowledge of:

• Telecommunications and network infrastructures

• TCP/IP protocols and networking fundamentals

• Cisco technologies and router concepts

• Microsoft Excel (formulas, Pivot Tables, data validation, conditional formatting)

• Microsoft Visio for network diagrams and engineering documentation

The following would be considered a plus: AutoCAD; Power BI; UI/UX design principles; SNMP and Cisco IOS environments.

You are:

• Curious and eager to learn

• Analytical and detail-oriented

• Comfortable working on both technical and business-oriented topics

• Able to manage multiple priorities

• A collaborative team player with strong communication skills

Fluency in English is required.
